Full reconstitution process including diluent selection, volume ratios, drawing-up technique and storage to ensure consistent, safe results.

5. Injection Technique - The Three Core Areas

-
Glabella (frown lines)
-
Crow's Feet (periorbital lines)
6. Dosing Principles - Units, Dilution and Clinical Judgement

7. Prescribing, Insurance and Getting Started Legally
How the prescriber relationship works, legal responsibilities as an administering practitioner, and insurance requirements for botulinum toxin treatments.
On the Day — Course Format
One structured training day. Theory in the morning, live model practice in the afternoon in a sequence designed to prepare you to inject confidently before you reach the clinical session.
Morning - Theory and Preparation
Botulinum toxin science, reconstitution, upper facial anatomy, consultation framework, dosing principles, prescribing and insurance, and complication management. Covered at a pace that builds understanding not rushed through to get to the practical. Laura answers questions throughout, including the practical questions every new injector has that training manuals rarely address.
Afternoon - Live Model Practice
Supervised botulinum toxin treatments on live models across the three core upper face areas. Every delegate injects you do not observe someone else treating and call it practical experience. Laura supervises every treatment, provides real-time feedback on your grip, angle, depth, dose draw-up and injection technique, and debrief after each model covers what to take forward into your own practice.
Concealing & Colour Correcting
Neutralising redness, dark circles, pigmentation and blemishes. Blending into foundation invisibly. Concealing is one of the most-requested skills especially for bridal and mature clients.

What Happens After This Course
Your CPD certificate is the beginning not the end. Here is what the next steps look like:
Insurance Contact your insurance provider with your CPD certificate to add botulinum toxin to your policy. Confirm the treatment areas covered and the product brands included in your policy scope.
Prescriber arrangement: If you are not a prescriber, establish your prescriber relationship before booking your first client. Laura can advise on this at your consultation call.
Product sourcing: Botulinum toxin must be ordered via your prescriber through a licensed pharmaceutical supplier. Laura will advise on the process at enrolment.
Your first clients Start with clients you know. Treat conservatively. Review at two weeks. Build your caseload gradually and document every treatment from day one.
Your next step: When you are established in the three core areas and have a growing caseload, LBL Academy's Advanced Botulinum Toxin CPD course covers 13 further treatment areas, including masseter, Nefertiti lift, hyperhidrosis, gummy smile, and more.
