Who Is This Course For?

  • Practitioners with active mesotherapy or microneedling experience who want to progress into injectable skin hydration treatments

  • Aesthetic practitioners building a skin quality treatment programme alongside their existing facial aesthetics services

  • Clinic owners adding a high-retention, repeat-booking injectable service that complements rather than competes with their existing offerings.

  • Those who have completed foundation skin booster training elsewhere and want a course that covers product science, technique comparison, and polynucleotides at the clinical depth their previous training lacked

What This Course Covers

1. The Science - Why Skin Boosters Work at a Biological Level

As skin ages, fibroblast activity and HA production decline; boosters are delivered directly into the dermis to interact with fibroblasts. Intrinsic (biological) and extrinsic (UV/pollution) ageing require different products.

2. Product Categories - HA Boosters, Profhilo, Polynucleotides and Amino Acid Stimulators

HA boosters (for hydration), Profhilo (bio-remodelling, 64mg/2ml concentration, applied via the BAP technique), and Polynucleotides/PDRN (tissue regeneration with slower but more durable results lasting 6–12 months).

3. Injection Techniques - BAP, Micropapule and Serial Puncture

The BAP technique (used for Profhilo, 5 points per side), the Micropapule technique (for standard HA/polynucleotides, ensuring even distribution), and Serial puncture (used for linear areas such as the jawline/neck).

4. Zone-by-Zone Protocols - Face, Under Eyes, Neck and Décolletage

Each zone — face, under-eye (the highest-risk area, requiring only low-viscosity products), neck and décolletage — has its own depth and product requirements.

5. HA Skin Booster vs Dermal Filler - Why This Distinction Matters

Fillers are cross-linked (used to volumise), while boosters are non-cross-linked (used to hydrate and stimulate) — their use and outcomes are entirely different.

6. Complications Prevention and Management

This covers recognition and management of the Tyndall effect, lumps/nodules, hygroscopic swelling (HA attracting water), and vascular occlusion.

On the Day - Course Format

One structured training day morning theory followed by afternoon live model practice.

Morning - Science, Products and Protocols

Skin ageing biology and hydration deficit, product category comparison (HA boosters, Profhilo, polynucleotides, amino acid stimulators), molecular weight science, BAP vs micropapule vs serial puncture technique rationale, zone-by-zone protocols including under-eye, skin booster vs filler distinction, hygroscopic swelling management, complication prevention and prescribing status clarity. Interactive throughout real product comparisons, client consultation scenarios and protocol decisions.

Afternoon - Live Model Practice

Supervised skin booster treatments across facial zones on live models. Every delegate performs the full consultation, product selection, technique selection, injection delivery and post-treatment assessment under Laura's direct supervision. Real-time feedback on micropapule formation, injection depth, point spacing and zone-specific technique adaptation.

On Completion

CPD certificate on the day. Product category comparison reference, technique selection guide by product, zone-by-zone protocol reference, hygroscopic swelling client communication template and contraindication checklist provided.
